S01E15: Dinner with GarryGarry tries to fix his mother up with his Internist. The Shoemakers, Nancy, Garry, Garry's mother, and the Doctor all go dancing. After a little production number on the floor, his mother indicates she is having a wonderful time. Three days later, there hasn't been a call from the Doctor. Garry goes to the Doctor to find out why. The Doctor indicates he needs to wait a couple of years, to get over the death of his wife. We fast forward 2 years and the Doctor is ready to date again. The ballroom has turned into a disco and fashions have changed to turtle necks and bermuda shorts. Big Grant shows up, made that he's missed 2 years of baseball due to all the fast forwarding. But Grant is happy once he finds out he is dating Mary Lou Retton.
